Most 'best hosting' lists are affiliate marketing. We are MC-Node; this is our own comparison — dated (August 2026, public pricing pages), verifiable, and honest about where others are stronger. Watch 'from' prices: low entries are often 512 MB tiers or temporary promos (Etheron's low entry only applies with a discount; regular rates are higher). The fair metric is price per GB — ours is a flat €1.10 on every 1–15 GB package (4 GB = €4.40 vs €12.50 elsewhere).

The pattern: with us 8 GB costs exactly eight times 1 GB. Our per-GB price is flat — €1.10 at 1, 2, 4, 8 and 10 GB (even €1.05 and €1.00 at 6 and 15 GB). No surcharge for needing a bigger plan, and no cheap entry that gets expensive later.
Hardware: who tells you what you get?
Minecraft runs its world tick on a single thread, so clock speed per core decides whether your server is smooth — not core count.
- MC-Node — budget line AMD EPYC 7443P (4.0 GHz, DDR4-3200); premium line AMD Ryzen 9 9950X (Zen 5, 5.7 GHz, DDR5-5600). You pick the line and know upfront what is inside.
- VibeGames — Ryzen 9950X, with their own caveat that you may get a 7950X "depending on the location and availability". Same top chip as our premium line, just not guaranteed.
- KaasHosting — Ryzen 9 7900, alongside older 5900X and 3900X. Properly published.
- Ferox — lists "4.7 GHz" with no CPU model; that figure fits dozens of chips across five generations.
- Etheron — no full hardware specification found.
Our edge is not "the fastest chip" — VibeGames runs the same 9950X. The difference is certainty: our exact model is published per product line and does not change with availability.
Which plan fits you?
- Survival with 2–5 friends, vanilla or Paper: 2 GB budget line — €2.20/mo.
- Small community, 10–20 players, some plugins: 4 GB budget line — €4.40.
- Heavy modpack (ATM, RLCraft, Better MC): 8 GB premium line — €20.00. Clock speed matters here, not RAM. A modpack stuttering on a budget line is a single-thread problem, and no provider fixes that with more memory.

FAQ
Is the cheapest host the worst? Not automatically. Price reflects the customer-to-hardware ratio, not the hardware itself. Ask for the CPU model and whether it is guaranteed — not for core count.
Why is "from €0.50" not the same as cheap? Entry tiers are often 512 MB or a BungeeCord proxy, so not a playable server. Always convert to price per GB at the size you actually need.
Do I need more RAM if my server stutters? Usually not. Mod-related lag is nearly always single-thread load; look at clock speed first.
Honest guidance
