How do I create and manage a database?

This knowledge base article consists of three parts. First we will create a database, then we will configure it properly, and finally I will show you how to edit it.

1. Log in to the web hosting panel.

2. Hover your mouse over Account Management

3. Then click MySQL Management.

4. Click CREATE NEW DATABASE.

5. Enter a name for your database and come up with a strong password.

6. Click Create Database

7. Save the details you now see in a safe place.

The database has now been created; next we will configure it properly.

1. Click the database you just created.

2. Then enter % at Access Host (this allows you to connect to your database from anywhere), and click Add New.

Now that your database is configured properly, let's look at how you can edit it.

1. Click the phpMyAdmin logo; you will automatically be logged in to the built-in database editor.

2. Here you can edit everything in your database.
