How do I manually install a plugin?

NOTE: This only works on the following Minecraft frameworks: Paper, Spigot.

For this tutorial we use Essentials

1. We start by downloading the .jar file of the plugin.

• Search Google for "Essentials spigotmc."

If you're looking for a different plugin, you can search for that instead of Essentials, followed by spigotmc.

• In this example we open the first link; always try to open the one from spigotmc.org
• Find the Download Now button, slightly to the right in the middle of your screen.

If a .jar file is already being downloaded by your browser, you can skip ahead to step 2.

• Download the correct Essentials plugin; for this example we use Essentials core.

2. Upload the plugin .jar file to your server.

• Go to your panel, then to files and then to the plugins folder.
• Upload your .jar file there.

• Restart your server.

3. Check whether a folder for the plugin has been created.
