Q: Can I run mods (BepInEx)?

Yes. Enable BepInEx in the panel and install your mods via the file manager. Note: Iron Gate does not officially support mods and consoles cannot run mods. If you play crossplay with Xbox, PS5 or Switch 2 players, keep your server mod-free.

Q: Does crossplay work with PS5, Switch 2 and Xbox?

Yes. Since Valheim 1.0, PC, Xbox, PS5 and Switch 2 play together. Crossplay is on by default on your server and can be turned off in the panel; console players join via the server name or the join code.

Q: Do I need a new world for the Deep North?

Not necessarily. Your existing world receives the new content, but new biomes only generate in parts of the map you have not explored yet. Iron Gate recommends a fresh world for the full 1.0 experience.

Q: How many players fit in Valheim?

Valheim supports up to 10 players by default; with mods this can be higher.
